23 “The steps of the GODly are directed by the LORD. HE delights in every detail of their lives. 24 Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.” ~ Psalm 37:23-24
The person in whom GOD delights is one who follows GOD, trusts HIM, and tries to do HIS will. GOD watches over and makes firm every step that person takes. If you would like to have GOD direct your way, then seek HIS advice before you step out.
“Do not be impatient for the LORD to act! Travel steadily along HIS path. He will honor you, giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed.” – Psalm 37:34 – It is difficult to wait patiently for GOD to act when we want change right away. But GOD promises that if we submit to HIS timing, HE will honor us. Peter said, “So humble yourselves under the mighty power of GOD, and in HIS good time HE will honor you”. – 1 Peter 5:6 – GOD is able and willing to bless us according to HIS timing. We must remember to be patient, steadily doing the work GOD has given us to do and allow GOD to choose the best time to change our circumstances. Humbly obey GOD regardless of present circumstances, and in HIS good time – either in this life or in the next – HE will honor you.
Father GOD forgive us when we are impatient and try to work out the details of our circumstances on our own. Direct our steps LORD so that when we stumble we will not fall because YOU hold us by the hand. We know that in YOUR good and perfect timing, YOU will honor those who humble themselves under YOUR mighty power.
